After the clip is placed, adjust the length of the Adjustment Clip to match your video. In the Custom LUT tab of the Video inspector, click LUT > Choose Custom LUT. Click the Video icon (it looks like a short film strip). Open the Effects browser, select the Color category on the left, then select Custom LUT. Grab the Adjustment Clip from there, drag and drop it above the layers you want it to affect. To apply your LUT in this program: Select your footage in the Final Cut Pro timeline. They have a ton of great looking creative LUTs to apply to footage, but I'm wondering at what step I should be applying them for a proper workflow. You can use LUTs in almost every Video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X or DaVinci Resolve or any other program that supports 3D.
